Who should attend this year's conference?

Great question! Our conference is home to black led nonprofit impact leaders from around the world.

Whether you call you are a nonprofit founder, board member, volunteer, or employee working for one or a nonprofit professional who provides services – we’ve got you covered. And, whether you new to the nonprofit world , an expert in the field or anything in between there’s a spot for YOU here!

And there’s also content for your colleagues from Fundraising, Grant Writing, Marketing, Program Design and even business development!

When should I arrive & depart?
Conference registration and continental breakfast starts at 8:00 am ET on Friday, October 14. We suggest arriving the night before.
  • Conference Kickoff  Day 1 starts on Friday, October 14 at 9:30 am ET. 
  • The Power Networking Luncheon starts at 1:00 pm ET on Friday, October 14. 
  • Conference Kickoff Day 2 starts on Saturday, October 15, at 8 am ET 
  • The Royal Ball Formal Dinner starts at 7:00 pm ET on Saturday, October 15
  • Conference Kickoff Day 3 starts on Sunday, October 16  at 8:00 am ET
  • Conference Mastermind Classes on Sunday, October 16 at  10:00 am – 5 pm ET
  • Closing Ceremony and Founders Runway Show Grand Finale starts on Sunday,  October 16 at 5:30- 7:30 pm ET 
The conference finale ends at 7:30 pm ET on Sunday, October 16. To allow ample time for travel to the airport and navigating security lines, we recommend booking flights to depart the next day.
What if I need to cancel ?
  • Full refunds will be available on all cancellations emailed to Blacks In Nonprofits 30 business days or more prior to the start of the event minus a $50.00 processing fee.

  • No refunds will be issued 29 days before the first day of the event.

  • Registrants failing to attend the event will not be eligible for a refund.

  • Substitution of registration is permitted up until two weeks before the event with written consent. Any substitution must be of the same type (Member for Member, Nonprofit for Nonprofit, Commercial for Commercial). The individual submitting the substitution request is responsible for all financial obligations.

  • If the event is canceled by Blacks In Nonprofits for any reason, registrants will receive a full refund for registration fees, or said registration fees can be credited to a future program.  However, Blacks In Nonprofits cannot and does not assume responsibility for any other expenses, including the purchase of airline tickets, incurred by the registrant in connection with attending the event.
  • Hotel reservations will need to be cancelled directly through the Hotel unless otherwise communicated.

  • All applicable refunds will be issued following the close of the event. A refund will be returned in the original purchase format. If paying with a credit card, a refund will take an additional 10 business days to post to your account.

  • COVID-19 Accommodations: If, within 30 days, a registrant is unable to attend due to illness or exposure related to COVID-19, or an attendee must cancel due to company restrictions (proof required) or state, local and federal government regulations relating to COVID-19, an attendee can choose to receive a full refund or apply the credit toward registration for a future BIN program.
What happens if there is another surge in late 2022?

Rest assured, we are passionate about holding an in-person event, but if the pandemic requires it, we will virtualize the conference. And if we must go virtual, we will make available a 66% refund on in-person registration fees.

By removing risk from your decision-making, we want it to make it easy to take advantage of the tremendous event we’re building for you.

Covid Safety
As we unveil plans for the 2022 Blacks In Nonprofits  conference we are committed to serving you responsibly as members of the social impact community. We will:

  • Follow local pandemic protocols, including mask mandates
  • Make it easy for each of us to communicate to others our comfort level with personal contact 
  • Provide ample space for social distancing at tables and in common areas
The Westin Peachtree Plaza Atlanta has also implemented a multi-pronged approach to meet the health and safety requirements of their “Commitment to Clean” standards.
